What is the British Columbia Christian Leadership Summit?

The British Columbia Christian Leadership Summit is a structured, face-to-face dialogue between Christian leaders and BC political leaders.

The Summit was established to foster direct engagement — not from a distance, but in the same room — on the laws and policies that shape our families, churches, and communities.

Together, the goal is to translate dialogue into meaningful cooperation that strengthens British Columbia's social fabric and enables principled policy to advance with public support.

We believe that when Christian leaders and government leaders communicate constructively, families are strengthened, communities grow more resilient, the people of our cities and towns are better served and God is pleased.

Who should come to this Summit?

Anyone who cares about the future of British Columbia and wants to participate in a direct dialogue between Christian and political leaders.

Come help shape the policies affecting our families, churches, and communities.

Let's discuss responsibilities, expectations, and cooperation.

Where do you stand on today's most challenging issues?

Be part of the conversation!

We are especially inviting Pastors, Clergy, Elders & Deacons, Christian Business Leaders, Ministry Workers, Elected Officials, Educators, Laypeople, Volunteers & Interested Youth!

A round-table conversation among Christian leaders

Sessions & Themes

The Summit will feature live addresses from BC leaders, including moderated dialogues in which they will answer questions from attendees.

Federal, provincial, and municipal officials will participate in sessions, providing Christian leaders with the opportunity to raise questions and engage directly on key issues impacting Christian life and public policy. Many topics will be discussed, including:

  • Freedom of conscience, religious expression, and hate speech legislation.
  • Property rights and land ownership in British Columbia.
  • MAID expansion & medical ethics
  • Faith-based education
  • The lawful role of churches and charities in public policy and civic engagement.
  • How British Columbia navigates and responds to federal legislation and national policy trends that may conflict with provincial priorities and the concerns of Christian communities.

Additional sessions will include:

  • A session with federal MPs examining the intersection of federal and provincial jurisdiction, and the national issues affecting Christian communities.
  • A panel of BC mayors to discuss municipal matters.
  • A session with top Christian lawyers where they will provide an update on the legal environment in Canada.
  • A special session with Dr. Todd Martin, President of Trinity Western University, on the urgent need to raise the next generation of Christian leaders, how TWU is doing it, and how the rest of us can play a role in shaping BC's future.
  • Breaks for networking, fellowship, and visiting exhibitor booths.

This Summit is rooted in Scripture

“I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.”
